Some users use the water layer as a mask atop some Rhiza shapes to refine their shapes (especially near coastlines), but need to bring other Rhiza shapes (like the DMA outline) atop the water layer. Since Rhiza water layers lay atop everything in the map viz, you may need to take some steps in post-processing the PPT output.

Follow these steps in PowerPoint to rearrange map layers:

  1. Select the map and go to Arrange → Ungroup to arrange individual layers.
  2. This allows you to move the water and place names layers out of the way.
  3. Select the Rhiza shape layer.
  4. Go to Arrange → Ungroup to break the Rhiza shapes apart.
  5. Select the DMA outline (it may take some fiddling) and go to Edit → Cut.
  6. Move the place names layer back into place.
  7. Go to Arrange → Bring to Front to arrange the place names in front of the water layer.
  8. Move the water layer back into place.
  9. Go to Edit → Paste to restore the DMA outline.
  10. Move the DMA outline into place with the other layers.

Here is a video with an example using the Norfolk DMA.
